Tip On Main Ingredient:
** Choose chicken drumstick that has a glow of freshness, yellow-colored and with thin skin
Ingredients:
2 chicken drumsticks (around 500g), rinse and remove the bone, cut and marinate for 10 minutes
1 tablespoon chinese pepper
1 stem spring onion, diced or chopped
600ml water
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Seasoning:
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon ShaoXing Wine
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
2 tablespoon water
Marinate:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon corn flour
1/3 teaspoon pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon water
Steps:
Put the ingredients onto different plates.
Marinate the chicken drumsticks for 10 minutes.
Boil 600ml water for 5 minutes with high heat (induction heat level 9).
Than add in the cut chicken drumsticks and mix well.
Lower the heat on the stove to low heat (induction heat level 3), cover the cooker and cook the chicken for 5 minutes.
Dish out the cut chicken drumsticks and clear the cooker.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil and fry chinese pepper until fragrant with medium heat (induction heat level 5).
Add in seasoning. When the seasoning boils, add in the spring onion and mix well. Turn off the stove.
Pour the sauce on top of the chicken and serve hot.
Chilli oil can be added to enhance the taste.
